China
Adoptive
Parents China (APC) "is a group for persons who are
interested in the process or have adopted children from the People's
Republic of China. APC is a high volume email list averaging one hundred
posts a day. Humor, kindness and open-mindedness are welcome." (This
group is not Christian based and they are sensitive about "overly
religious" posts, but because of the huge membership, much helpful
information can be gleaned.)
Families with Children from China (FCC) "The purpose of FCC is
provide a network of support for families who've adopted in China and
to provide information to prospective parents. The purpose of this
site is to consolidate the information that has been put together by
the families of FCC, in order to make it easier for future parents
to consider adopting from China. We also try to provide pointers to
other adoption and China related resources available on the Web."

Russia
Families for Russian and
Ukrainian Adoption (including all former
Soviet Union Republics) "is a support network for adoptive families
with children from the former Soviet Union with chapters throughout
the U.S. Our families have found that there is no roadmap to guide
new parents of adoptive children from the former Soviet Union, so we've
turned to the real experts - other families. We can help you prepare
for your adoption experience and support you after you return home." Services
include support network, cultural and ethnic events, newsletter and
lecture series, forum for advocating adoption from the former Soviet
