Hannah's Prayer is a Christian support network for
couples facing "fertility
challenges" including infertility or the
death of a baby at any time from
conception through early infancy. Our group is based on the concept that every
man or woman facing fertility challenges is a "modern day Hannah" in
reflection of the story found in First Samuel, chapters 1-2. (If you want to
know more about Hannah, please visit our Bible page and click on "Who
is Hannah?")
We have tried to be selective in linking to sites the are
consistent with Biblical values, even if they are
not all specifically Christian in nature. Within the body of Christ, there are
many differing views on what
treatments or procedures are acceptable. As you visit our links, please keep in
mind that something you may find acceptable could be quite offensive to another,
or something you deem immoral may not seem questionable to others. While HP
does not necessarily agree with or support all views presented at any of our
linked sites, we pray that you are able to find the information that is helpful
to you. If you find a page to be spiritually troubling, we ask that you bring
it to our attention. If you know of other links that might work well on some
of our pages, please let us know.
Hannah's Prayer is not a medical organization nor a
professional counseling service. We offer peer support only. Any advice,
links, ideas, or suggestions presented on our pages should not be used in
place of the advice of a qualified professional. Hannah's Prayer Ministries is
a California based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All staff members are
unpaid volunteers who are proclaiming Christians (from a range of
denominational backgrounds) and have personal experience with the heartache of
fertility challenges.
